Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide spectrum of foot and lower limb conditions.
Treat cases ranging from:
Low-risk conditions (corns, calluses, nail disorders).
- Musculoskeletal issues.
- High-risk conditions (e.g., diabetic foot ulcers).
- Prescribe and manage custom-made foot orthoses.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on preventive foot care and ongoing treatment.
- Conduct public talks and outreach on foot health.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives in the department.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to trainees and students.
What we're looking for:
- Degree in Podiatry from a recognised university.
- Registration with the relevant governing body (if applicable).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong clinical knowledge, reasoning, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Patient-focused, with a genuine passion for community healthcare.
- Resilient and adaptable; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Motivated and committed to continuous growth in a healthcare career.
