Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and approve vessel profile submissions via Modernised JP-Online
- Process berth applications accurately and update relevant details.
- Assign cargo-client codes, cargo modes, storage, and crane allocations as needed.
- Maintain vessel records and ensure data accuracy in the JP vessel master database.
- Ensure timely conversion of Cement Vessel Reservation System (CVRS) bookings to berth applications.
- Update the Berth Application and Planning System with any changes.
- Respond promptly to emails to support efficient vessel scheduling, cargo handling, and crane allocation.
- Work with agents and WSH to ensure adherence to MPA's Dangerous Goods (DG) limits.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Maritime, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
- At least 5 years of experience in the port or related industry.
- Able to perform 12-hour shift work
- Computer literate
- Ability to work independently and handle customer needs professionally
- Knowledge of port operations and procedures is an advantage.
- Strong team player with good communication skills.
- Basic writing skills.
