About The Team
The Customer Success organization is composed of three teams: pre-sales, customer success, and support.
The Pre-Sales Consultant will join a team of trusted partners to our Account Executives, working closely with prospective clients through new business sales cycles to demonstrate the value of our platform and help drive new revenue.
They are problem-solvers, storytellers, and product experts who thrive on helping customers make better and faster decisions.
The Role & What You’ll Do
As a Pre-Sales Consultant focused on Corporate workflows, you will bridge the capabilities of our technology with the domain-specific needs and workflows of our clients.
You will drive value from evaluations, uncover use cases, and guide prospects to successful outcomes.
You will engage with decision-makers and users to identify use cases in areas such as Strategy, Competitive Intelligence, Corporate Development, and Investor Relations.
What You Will Do
Partner with GTM teams to drive commercial outcomes: collaborate with Account Executives to run seamless product evaluations and drive new business revenue growth.
Build and curate corporate use cases: conduct targeted discovery into clients’ research workflows and pain points to help them leverage AlphaSense for bespoke use cases; identify new use cases as capabilities evolve.
Forge and maintain strong client relationships: engage with professionals at all levels to understand challenges and demonstrate value from evaluation to close.
Contribute to product development: translate client feedback and share product and content improvements internally.
Who You Are
You have a proven track record of working with corporate professionals to solve complex problems and are passionate about applying AI to the industry.
You are a systems thinker who strives to continuously improve processes within a fast-growing, entrepreneurial culture.
What You Bring
Corporate Expertise: 2+ years’ experience in a corporate role or supporting corporate clients in fintech/SaaS, with exposure to Strategy, Competitive Intelligence, Corporate Development, or Investor Relations.
Curiosity About Generative AI: Interest in the potential of AI for the corporate sector and knowledge of GenAI in corporate workflows.
Executive Presence & Strong Presentation Skills: Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and explain technical solutions to business audiences; comfortable with on-site workshops, whiteboard sessions, and demos.
High-Impact, Ownership Mindset: Ability to work autonomously and drive workflow transformation at large enterprises.
Consultative Approach: Articulate, confident in client-facing settings with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.
Team Player: Strong internal relationship-building and a proactive, positive attitude.
Collaboration & Influence: Ability to distill client feedback to GTM, Product, and Content teams to improve offerings.
Fluency in Chinese/Mandarin & English.
