As a Pre-Sales Security Engineer and Consultant, you will primarily collaborate with Sales, Business Development, and Account Management teams to identify clients' technical requirements, recommend suitable solutions, produce and confirm Bills of Quantity (BOQ), and approve technical configurations and system solutions.
You will meet clients as part of the sales team, work to expand brand recognition, and create long-term value.
Additionally, you will work closely with other team members, including executives, marketing, and services, to add value to the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities include:
Work with the sales team to achieve business-related sales and margin targets.
Draft, produce, and present solutions, detailed BOQs, proposals, and quotations.
Check and approve sales quotations and proposals to ensure correct solution configurations.
Conduct site surveys when needed.
Represent BluOcean, meet clients for presentations, and assist with negotiations as needed.
Main Qualifications:
Minimum 6-8 years of experience in security systems installation and project management.
Minimum 2-3 years of pre-sales and technical support experience in the security industry.
Proven experience with large-scale and multi-site projects/solutions.
Experience working with global accounts and enterprise systems.
Strong product knowledge of Access Control, CCTV, Alarm, Intercom, Turnstile/Gate Control, and other security systems.
Experience with global security systems such as Lenel/S2, Avigilon, Milestone, Genetec, Ccure, Pro-Watch, etc.
IT and networking knowledge is an advantage.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and within tight schedules.
Detail-oriented with the ability to produce detailed BOQ documents and solution proposals.
Client service orientation.
Results-driven and proactive personality.
