Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical consultation, product expertise, and solution design to support the sales team during the sales cycle.
- Analyse and understand customer business and technical requirements; generate opportunities by recommending the right IT infrastructure solutions.
- Design scalable, efficient solutions that align with customer objectives and drive business value.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, solution proposals, and cost estimates.
- Stay informed about market trends and emerging technologies to enhance solution offerings and recommend upgrades or new services.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with technology and business partners (e.g., Cisco, Supermicro, QSAN, ASUS).
- Collaborate with the sales and post-sales teams for a seamless project handover and solution implementation.
- Support customer retention and upsell efforts, ensuring continued value delivery and satisfaction.
Technical Requirements:
Strong SME-level knowledge in network infrastructure, including:
Cisco Data Centre technologies
- Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine)
- Cisco WLAN and enterprise wireless solutions
Familiar with office setup solutions:
Structured cabling
- Server room setup
- CCTV and Door Access Control systems
- AV system integration
- Ability to translate technical knowledge into business solutions.
General Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5–8 years of IT experience, particularly in infrastructure design and pre-sales support.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role is essential.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong consultative selling and solution-matching skills.
- Business acumen and interest in technology trends (e.g., AI, HPC, virtualization).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
