Our client is a market-leading GPU-as-a-Service company in Asia, providing enterprises with access to NVIDIA’s AI computing power to drive greater efficiencies to accelerate growth and innovation.
They are seeking a Presales Director to lead the pre-sales division and support the sales teams and potential customers.
The primary focus is developing and presenting solutions based on customer needs, ensuring a seamless process from prospecting to closing.
The successful candidate will have strong expertise in GPU Cloud/GPUaaS technologies, products, or services, with a proven track record in pre-sales or technical sales.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute the strategic vision for the global pre-sales function.
- Align pre-sales objectives with sales targets and product roadmaps.
- Mentor, develop, and scale a high-performing solutions engineering team.
- Complex Solution Design
- Collaborate with prospects to diagnose technical/business challenges and design tailored GPUaaS solutions (AI training, HPC, etc.).
- Oversee development of compelling demos, POCs, and technical proposals that highlight the sovereign cloud advantage.
- Partner with Engineering/Product to resolve technical gaps and prioritize feature requests.
- Drive technical win-rates by partnering with Sales on account strategy, opportunity qualification, and competitive positioning.
- Lead high-stakes presentations to C-suite, IT leaders, and technical stakeholders.
- Develop sales collateral and deliver training on GPU Cloud capabilities, use cases, and market differentiation.
- Analyze GPU/AI/Cloud market trends, competitor moves, and emerging technologies to inform strategy.
- Champion GPUaaS solutions at industry events and executive briefings.
- Translate customer feedback into actionable insights for Product and Marketing teams.
- Operational Excellence
- Track and optimize pre-sales KPIs (e.g., POC success rates, deal velocity).
- Refine processes for solution design, proposal development, and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure seamless handoff of won deals to delivery teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- 12+ years in technical pre-sales/solutions architecture, with 5+ years leading teams in Cloud/IaaS, HPC, or GPU-centric environments.
- Deep expertise in GPU technologies (NVIDIA stack, AI/ML workloads, HPC) and cloud architecture (IaaS/PaaS, hybrid/sovereign models).
- Proven success designing/delivering complex technical solutions for enterprise clients (deal sizes >$500k).
- Mastery of sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, Challenger) and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Technical Leadership: Translate business needs into scalable GPU Cloud architectures.
- Executive Influence: Persuade C-level stakeholders with technical and business fluency.
- Commercial Acumen: Balance technical rigor with revenue-driven urgency.
- Collaboration: Bridge Sales, Product, and Engineering to accelerate growth.
- Industry Insight: Anticipate AI/Cloud market shifts and competitive threats.
Preferred Assets
- Experience in regulated sectors (Govt, Finance, Healthcare).
- NVIDIA/CSP certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure Architect).
- Track record in scaling pre-sales functions for hyperscale/GaaS platforms.
