Key Responsibilities
Presales Support:
- Act as the technical expert during the sales cycle for Archicad and related BIM/CAD software solutions.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations, webinars, and technical presentations to prospective clients.
- Assist the sales team in identifying client needs and proposing appropriate solutions.
- Prepare and customize proof-of-concept models to illustrate product capabilities.
Technical Support:
- Provide first-line technical support to clients using Archicad and other CAD/BIM tools.
- Diagnose and resolve software issues, escalating complex problems to the development or vendor support teams when necessary.
- Maintain a knowledge base of common issues and resolutions to improve support efficiency.
- Deliver onboarding, training, and ongoing support for new and existing users.
- Monitor and follow up on support tickets to ensure timely resolution and client satisfaction.
Client Engagement & Product Feedback:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with users, gathering feedback to relay to product development teams.
- Work closely with internal teams to keep up-to-date on product developments and industry trends.
- Participate in user group meetings, events, and conferences to represent the company and promote the software.
Requirements
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Archicad is essential; knowledge of other CAD/BIM tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp) is a plus.
- Understanding of BIM workflows, architectural design processes, and construction documentation.
- Experience with CAD/BIM standards and interoperability formats (e.g., IFC, DWG, PDF).
- Familiarity with rendering, visualization, and coordination tools is a bonus.
Professional Background:
- Degree/Dipoma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in a technical support, presales, or architectural design role (2+ years preferred).
- Strong presentation and communication skills – ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or within a team.
Nice to Have:
- Archicad certification or formal training.
- Experience working with clients in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry.
- Multilingual abilities, depending on regional needs.
