Roles & Responsibilities Position Overview

As a Primary School Teacher for English, Mathematics, and Science, you will deliver engaging, skills-based lessons that equip learners with the strategies and confidence to excel — both academically and in life
.
You will be responsible for creating joyful yet effective learning experiences, supporting each learner's growth while embodying our brand promise: Distinction with FUN.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction and Student Learning
- Teach English, Mathematics, and Science lessons based on the Fun Learners' curriculum, aligned to the latest MOE syllabus
.
- Incorporate Fun Learners' signature techniques (e.g., learning strategies, process working methods, study skills) into all lessons
.
- Engage learners with interactive, differentiated teaching approaches that encourage curiosity, confidence, and mastery.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that meet the individual needs of learners across different learning levels
.
- Regularly assess student progress through worksheets, quizzes, formative feedback, and mock tests.
Student Progress Monitoring and Feedback
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to learners on their academic performance.
- Maintain accurate student records and prepare Half-Yearly Progress Reports with actionable improvement plans
.
- Work closely with parents by communicating learner progress and recommendations in a professional and empathetic manner.
Classroom and Centre Collaboration
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and orderly classroom environment that fosters active participation and respect.
- Contribute to centre-wide events such as Open Houses, Holiday Programs, and Enrichment Activities

- Collaborate with fellow teachers, assistant teachers, and the Centre Manager to ensure smooth and high-quality programme delivery.
Professional Development
- Attend teacher training workshops and professional development sessions conducted by Fun Learners' HQ
.
- Continuously improve teaching practices by staying updated on pedagogical research, MOE changes, and FLS best practices.
Requirements
Skills & Attributes
- Passionate about teaching and inspiring primary school children (P1–P6).
- Strong subject knowledge across English, Mathematics, and Science at the primary level.
- Excellent classroom management skills with a nurturing and positive attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with learners, parents, and colleagues.
- Organized, proactive, and able to adapt teaching approaches to diverse learner needs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Education, English, Mathematics, Science, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification or experience in MOE schools, tuition centres, or enrichment centres preferred.
- Familiarity with the latest MOE Primary curriculum is essential.
- Fresh graduates passionate about teaching and willing to undergo training are welcome to apply.
Working Hours
- Wednesday to Fridays: 11:30 AM – 9:30 PM (2 meals break, 45mins each)
- Weekends (Sat-Sun): 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM (1 meals break, 45mins each)
- (Rest day: Monday & Tuesday)
Schedules may vary during school holidays or special events.
