What You Will Be Working On
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in key technical domains requirement for software development, such as software architecture, front end, back end development and other critical areas.
Develop and define long-term technical directions and technology roadmaps, on how to support project and product delivery
Lead technical design for overall solution, and software components and align with guiding principles and standards for identified components/systems to be developed in-house
Define best practices, and establish engineering standards for delivery teams in building scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions
Evaluate and recommend suitable modern technologies, frameworks, libraries, and tools for building the common technical stacks to accelerate software delivery
Owns development and delivery strategies, ensuring that the overall solution, including solution architecture, software architecture is resilient, maintainable and scalable, allows for seamless integration with for integration with the larger solution
Plays the role of Engineering Lead to review technical implementation to ensure technical feasibility, optimized solution and architecture, and delivery excellence
Collaborate closely with the Product Management pillar and other HTX functions to address complex engineering challenges across various Product teams
Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical growth and career development
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 15 years' experience in software engineering and over 8 years as a Solution Architect/Software Architect/QA Lead/Data Management Lead, or similar role.
Proven track records of experience in developing and delivering large-scale projects with primarily in-house developed software products, including multi-site deployment and proven track records
Demonstrated deep expertise in a specialized area (such as front end, back end, data management, QA & testing), solution and software architecture, DevOps
Experienced in working with multiple cross functional teams to drive software delivery.
Experienced in coaching technical excellence, development standards, and technical problem-solving
Strong technical leadership with a self-driven approach to achieving technical excellence
Possess strong problem-solving and documentation skills, with a keen attention to detail
Highly analytical, self-motivated team player.
All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
