The FECQ Central PQE Principal Engineer (Strategic Transformative) is responsible for leading and executing the SEAL (Speed Execution Alignment) program across manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment with Micron's quality transformation roadmap.
This role facilitates SWAT teams, drives standardized system implementation, and ensures measurable improvements in quality performance, operational efficiency, labor productivity and strategic transformative quality programs.
- Successful implementation and lead all aspects of strategic transformative quality engineering programs across global network.
- Own and execute the SEAL roadmap in alignment with FECQ and global quality objectives.
- Facilitate cross-functional SWAT teams to deliver prioritized SEAL projects.
- Collaborate with site Quality Sponsors and Program Managers to ensure project alignment and resource readiness.
- Define and track KPIs for SEAL initiatives, including labor productivity and system adoption metrics.
- Conduct regular reviews with stakeholders to assess progress and recalibrate priorities.
- Act as the primary liaison between SEAL teams, Corp IT, SMAI, ADS, central functions and sites leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related field.
- More than 2 years proven experience in quality engineering within a high-tech environment with deep understanding of quality systems and/or manufacturing operations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong leadership and facilitation skills.
- Experience in project management and cross-sites coordination with demonstrated ability to lead quality initiatives and compete at a global scale.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with SEAL process, tools and platforms.
- Proficiency with quality management systems and tools.
- Deep understanding of data analytics skills to provide actionable insights to existing data.
