Overview
Principal Engineer/Manager, Process Development, Wet Process, NAND — Micron Technology.
We are looking for a high energy, self-motivated, results-driven individual to lead NAND Process Development Wet Process as a Manager/Lead.
The role will lead a team of engineers to identify, prioritize and drive process solutions under the 15-month cadence umbrella for yield, reliability and cost gaps for NAND technology nodes in different stages of technology introduction and development.
Responsibilities
Maintain safe environment through proactive safety practices and by ensuring safety policies are always followed
Hire, develop, mentor, and manage a team of highly capable process engineers
Create a culture of innovation and tenacity within the group to meet the needs of accelerated technology cadence
Provide regular feedback to your team members on performance, developing a career plan and mentoring the team members to support their professional development, through Micron’s performance planning and appraisal process
Set strategy for future technology nodes and help define roadmap
Engage with suppliers to develop the process and equipment needed to meet Micron’s technology roadmap
Collaborate with other process development, process integration, manufacturing development to align on project priorities and deliver robust, manufacturing-friendly processes on time
Partner with Manufacturing fab for effective transfer, pilot ramp and ongoing development to achieve TECHNODE gate criteria
Engage with Procurement & Operations Central Teams and lead worldwide alignment efforts across technology to improve area efficiency
Communicate and collaborate with partners locally and globally, with strict adherence to Micron Intellectual Property protection policy
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years experience in the semiconductor industry with Wet process background and strong organizational and technical skills with demonstrated success in engagement with global teams
Deep understanding of process technologies such as Vapor etch, wet strip, etc
Demonstrated ability to lead successful projects and experience overseeing a process engineering team
Ability to instill a department culture in-line with the company core values
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to take calculated risks and drive new solutions
Proven ability to mentor, build teams, motivate, and solicit feedback, with strategic thinking on team engagement and work culture
