Job Description & Requirement:
SIFBI seeks to appoint a Principal Investigator in the areas of food oral processing and sensory perception, including psychophysics, sensory physiology, sensory nutrition, and neural behaviour of eating and sensory perception, and other emerging topics in relation to eating and sensory perception.
The appointed Principal Investigator is expected to lead a research team to conduct experiment-based original research in his/her expert area.
The candidate should hold a PhD degree in food science, sensory science, or other relevant disciplines and appropriate experience of independent research either as an academic or an industrial researcher.
The candidate should demonstrate his/her research achievements with an excellent track record of research publications, cases of successful funding, industrial collaborations, and social and economic impacts.
Experience in research management and strategy planning is highly desirable.
