What You Will Be Doing
- Exhibit profound expertise in education products to influence strategic choices.
- Create technical specifications that prioritize simplicity, efficiency, and sustainability through key technical decisions.
- Implement generative AI technologies to automate and enhance engineering processes, aligning with our vision to minimize manual labor.

- Engaging in pure people management; your role relies on both business and technical expertise.
- Spending time in meetings, committees, or handling administrative duties; we have automated these tasks to let you focus on delivering business value through direct involvement.
- Developing high‑level strategies without actionable implementation plans; your insights must be grounded in product‑level understanding.
Principal Product Architect Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the CTO for one or more educational products, mastering core competencies and driving business value through strategic execution and decision‑making.
Basic Requirements
- Profound experience and enthusiasm for data‑driven learning science.
- Over 7 years of experience in making pivotal architecture and design decisions on software projects, including the use of architectural design patterns or significant open‑source technologies.
- At least 2 years of experience in making design decisions involving cloud computing services, mainly AWS.
- More than 4 years in roles with full technical and delivery responsibility for a revenue‑generating product.
- Experience in developing product features that leverage Generative AI.
- Proficiency in using Generative AI to optimize work processes.

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week) position.
The role is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.
