Job Description:
Leads conceptual and technical integration of various research studies to provide leading edge solutions towards treatment of maternal-child viral diseases, with a focus on
impact of re-emerging vector-borne viral infections on maternal immunity and fetal immune reprogramming during early childhood .
Conceptualize and create new technologies, patents and publications.
Review and manage operating budget of grants and team.
Establish collaborations, develop scientific proposals and ensure timely achievement of project milestones.
Manage a team and provide scientific and career mentorship to researchers and students.
Job Requirements:
PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Infectious Diseases, Immunology or related field.
Minimally 4 years of post‐PhD relevant experience with a strong record in clinical collaborations.
Strong background in Microbiology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics and Genomics.
Strong publication record, especially on mosquito‐borne viruses.
Highly motivated and able to develop strong research ideas to secure grant and funding.
Strong analytical, technical and problem‐solving skills.
Team player with good interpersonal skills.
Good spoken and written communication skills.
