Printing and Admin Assistant

Work Location: Jurong East Ave 1, Singapore
Working Hours
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 4:30pm (inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break)
- Fridays: 7:30am to 4:00pm (inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break)
- Rest Days: Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays
Scope of ServicesCore Duties – Printing Room Operations
- Printing and duplicating approved notes, circulars, pamphlets, and test/examination papers for the school
- Provide lamination, binding, and sorting services
- Collect and distribute printed materials or materials to be printed
- Support the Examination Committee in printing, collation, movement, and safekeeping of examination papers under prevailing security measures (Printing Assistant must sign the Undertaking to Safeguard Official Information)
- Maintain proper records for all printing and duplicating works
- Maintain records of printing room equipment and consumables
- Account for the daily use of all equipment and consumables under the Printing Room's charge
- Perform basic day-to-day maintenance of equipment, including heavy-duty printing machines
- Liaise with the school's printing equipment lessor(s) for general and specific maintenance matters
Other Duties – General School Administration
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls and visitors
- Perform document filing, sorting, collation, recording, scanning, shredding, and internal dispatch
- Provide mail room support
- Perform simple data entry using computer systems
- Provide logistical support for school events and meetings
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum secondary school education or equivalent
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Proficient in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) and able to carry out simple mathematical operations
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a school or similar setting
- Experienced in handling heavy-duty printing machines and performing basic troubleshooting
- Skilled in operating touch screen–enabled heavy-duty printing equipment
- Physically fit to manage large printing volumes
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Customer service skills for handling calls and visitors
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with school stakeholders across different levels
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: Up to $3,000.00 per month
Experience:
- operating heavy-duty printing machines: 2 years (Required)
