Role Overview
Optimize and characterize semiconductor advanced packaging processes, leveraging data-driven experimentation to enhance product performance, automation, and manufacturing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Define process flows, specifications, and requirements; verify through Design of Experiments (DoE).
- Collaborate with customers on new product process design and feasibility verification.
- Propose new concepts and analyze data to enhance existing product performance.
- Troubleshoot machinery and perform process analysis to optimize parameters.
- Support internal machinery optimization and customer sample evaluation.
- Conduct on-site process optimization to meet customer requirements.
Ideal Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher in Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of DoE, FMECA, statistics, and instrumentation.
- Proficient in MATLAB, JMP, Python, or similar tools for data analysis.
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy in analytical work.
- Experience in microelectronics is a plus.
- Willingness for occasional business trips.
