Your duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Procurement Duties
- Build relationships with suppliers.
- Obtain supplier quotes.
- Review supplier performance.
- Create purchase orders.
- Ensure proper documentation.

Product Knowledge
- Understanding the specific characteristics, varieties, and quality standards of various fresh produce items.
- Identify and reduce inefficiencies by understanding quality standards between customers and suppliers.
3.
Cost Efficiency
- Conduct cost analysis to identify the most cost-effective sources and logistics solutions.
- Combine bulk purchasing.
- Administer supplier claims.
4.
Quality Assurance
- Understand quality control processes to ensure the freshness and safety of procured produce.
- Stay updated with industry standards related to food safety and quality.

Order Forecasting
- Efficiently manage the logistics and transportation of fresh produce to minimize spoilage and ensure timely delivery.
- Understand the complexities of the fresh produce supply chain, including storage and distribution.
- Monitor usage through systems or communication with relevant personnel to avoid stockouts and overstocking.
Compliance
- Ensure the procurement team follow all statutory act, company policies and SOPs.
Requirements:
- Preferably has experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management in FMCG or a related industry.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with various departments.
- Proficient in Business Central or other Procurement Software is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and effectively bilingual
- Motivated and driven individual who possesses good analytical and negotiation skills.
- This is a 5 days work week with 44 hours, weekend support (WFH) is required, if any.
