Job Description & Requirements:
Manage full procurement cycle and handle all material purchases for the company.
Find, evaluate, and build strong relationships with reliable suppliers, while continuously exploring new potential suppliers.
Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to get the best value.
Conduct price comparisons regularly and keep up with new products, materials, and industry trends.
Maintain and update supplier lists, material price lists, and all procurement records.
Monitor supplier performance and solve any delivery or quality issues.
Ensure all procurement documentation, including Purchase Orders and RFQs, are accurate and submitted on time.
Work closely with site teams and project managers to ensure material requests align with project requirements and optimise ordering.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Minimum 2–3 years of purchasing experience in construction, plumbing, sanitary, or related industries is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analysis for procurement tracking and reporting.
Familiarity with sourcing suppliers online and conducting market research independently.
