What you will be working on
Handle procurement operations, such as small-value purchase/invitation to quote/request for quote/direct contracting, for all Schools and Corp Depts
Establish NYP-wide term contracts for commonly used goods/services
Record keeping and filing of procurement documentation
Adhere to Government procurement policies and procedures
Business partner role to Schools/Depts to provide procurement advice, handle contract management issue, and resolve issue in a timely manner
Monitor contract expiry and liaise with contract owner on renewal
Contribute to other job-related tasks or projects as assigned
What we are looking for
Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
Willing to learn and pick up procurement as a career
Good analytical and logical thinking skills, meticulous and with an eye for details
Good team player, self-driven and service-oriented
Able to multitask and prioritise work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under tight timeline
Experience with Microsoft Word and/or Excel is an advantage
Role suitable for candidates with 0-2 years of experience
