General Description Of The Role
Is responsible for the Procurement activities in APAC Region, for ( but not limited to ) A&P and G&A in line with Gruppo Campari Procurement guidelines and the relevant Category strategy
He/she reports to Regional Procurement Director (RPD) and when needed works under the guidance of Global Category Manager (GCM).

Mission of the procurement function
To drive profitable growth for Gruppo Campari by transforming supplier capabilities into internal solutions for innovation, quality and service at the most competitive cost with a professional and passionate team.
Objectives of the role
In line with the procurement mission, the objectives of this role are: Provide and ensure efficient, effective and continuous supply the assigned Categories at competitive cost, quality and lead time through market research and scouting activities, negotiations with suppliers and contract management according to the global Procurement guidelines at a local and regional level.
Key Responsibilities And Activities
Represent Procurement in APAC specific work groups for Marketing and G&A.
Ensure that regional inputs and data are provided to Global category teams.
Align and execute the regional aspects of the Marketing and G&A category strategies implementation.
Develop and execute the implementation of Category strategy for “Central Led” and “Decentralized” Categories.
Ensure compliance within category to Procurement standards and policies.
Manage cross-functional interfaces with Functions (Cluster/Regional Counterparts) to ensure proper commitment and alignment.
Lead/participate in negotiations with Cluster/Regional suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Build sustainable Regional supplier relationships that generate value for Campari.
Assess SKU risks to anticipate and predict potential issues and identify mitigation actions and plans.
Prioritize initiatives in alignment with Cluster/Regional Lead.
Report procurement performance at Cluster/Regional levels for respective category, propose and execute remediation actions if needed.
Coach subordinates to achieve full potential and prepare for future potential succession.

Contribute to Campari Innovation activities (Supplier Trade Forums, Marketing Innovation shows, Projects involvement, etc.)
People Development/Succession Plans implemented (When applicable)

Working experience in Marketing Procurement (minimum 8 years), covering a similar role
FMCG industry experience preferable
Professional experience in complex (or matrix) organizations preferable
Education Knowledge
University Degree (Business Administration/ Management, Finance, Marketing, Legal or similar)
Master or MBA is an asset
Good Knowledge of Category / market / industry
Fluency in English; second / third language is a plus
