The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team on an 8-month fixed term basis at Loyang Crescent, Singapore.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing procurement activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services to support business operations.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Ensure the development, implementation and execution of the Project Procurement within the contracted work scope
- Understand and participate in support of the project practical and commercial aims, financial risks and opportunities through familiarization with the full scope of works
- Interface with the Planner and Cost Controller to develop and maintain the database of estimates, costs, times and resources to deliver the scope of work
- Develop and maintain a risk register to identify, quantify and track financial and commercial risk to the project
- Be familiar with the Project Schedule as an accurate model of all required project timescales, taking account of resource requirements, and be prepared to develop recovery/alternative plans should they be required, in consultation with the Project Manager, Planner and Cost Controller
- Inform the Project Manager, Project Planner and Cost Controller of critical path, milestone and slipping and overdue tasks, and other issues and changes which may give rise to over budget tasks
- Assist the Financial Controller and Project Cost Controller to Report the project cash flow analysis
- Liaise with Engineering Lead Engineer and PMT on a daily basis providing briefing, feedback and highlighting any areas of concern, to enable tracking of costs against baseline, highlighting significant deviations
- Support the Planning and Document Control functions to ensure reliable data is incorporated into Project planning and Reporting functions to both Client and InterMoor
- Preparation and evaluation of RFQs for issue to Project Subcontractors and Suppliers
Requirements
- Educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or a similar based discipline
- More than 10 years of experience in Procurement Management position in Offshore Oil and Gas Industry with a International Contractor or Client
- Rigmoving, mooring installation or anchor handling operations experience
- Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- A good understanding of risk and how it applies to contracts and offshore operations
- Project organization and administration acumen
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good liaison skills
