Responsible for order management for electronics and mechanical components required for manufacturing by a specific timeline determined by the project team.
Manage the procurement process such as receiving the receipt of goods from suppliers, making sure suppliers are paid and returns are processed promptly.
- Responsible for the purchasing and monitoring of on-time delivery of materials, components and services to meet factory's requirements on part deliveries and program deliverables.
- Create and monitor purchase orders based on demand in the system and follow-up with suppliers on committed delivery dates.
- Ensure on-time delivery by closely monitoring and expediting of orders with persistency
- Interact with suppliers daily through conference calls, on-site meetings to discuss the first communicator of price & lead time changes including additional information on any changes made.
- Ensure routing purchasing deliverables are maintained and communicated to internal and external stakeholders on a timely manner.
- Setup and manage mitigation plans on critical materials to meet Lead time requirements, risk of non-supply etc.
- Pursue and/or purchasing process improvement to ensure efficiency of work.
- Manage supplier relationship and performance in term of delivery participate in supplier performance review and improvement plan to develop suppliers to meet company's target.
Support in areas of Quality & Control or as assigned. - Support and participate in company continuous improvement program.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in a high-mix, low-volume environment or semiconductor industry
- Strong knowledge of managing global suppliers with good negotiation skills
- Positive attitude and independent with high ownership of responsibilities
