Background
Looking for a Product Manager to design, build and manage software applications and services for company operational and new innovation needs.
Spearheading the digitization efforts and we operate like a startup within the organization, moving with speed and delivering with quality.
Product Development team is a unit in SPD that focuses on delivering technology solutions to support successful project implementation in various business units.
Product Development coverage areas includes:
Consumer and Mass Market focused systems such as Internet Portal, Mobile Applications, eCommerce and integration with Payment systems
Utilities customers (consumer and industry) facing services and systems for internal users.
Utilities and New Energies data projects such as data service tools.
Corporate systems such as Workflow Management, Intranet and Accounting Systems
Job Duties
Work across internal products and operations stakeholders, as well as external partners to conceptualise and deliver product solutions.
Own the development, delivering and operationalise projects for internal users and customers.
Conduct and run daily standups/scrums
Prioritizing, planning, and tracking project deliverables
Documenting key information and decisions about the product
Plan and execute change management
Financial Tracking and Budgeting for the project revenue and resourcing
Resource planning and management to ensure project deliverables are met
Managing product operation lifecycle and account management with product user.
Be able to understand and internalize product features, user experience, business value and market implications from a marketing perspective.
Continually dive deep in understanding product users (app users, ecosystem consumers and partners) in Singapore.
Understanding users and business domain
Conducting user studies to understand their needs and problems
Analyzing data to uncover usage patterns that inform product decisions
Researching the industry to understand existing solutions
Product Planning and Road mapping
Working with user experience designers to create intuitive user experiences
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in User Experience Design, Business, Engineering preferred.
At least 5+ years in a product development role, project or work in a team that manage and operate a product or service.
Experience working with digital product, enterprise or consumer technology company
Demonstrate abilities to function, adapt and succeed in a constantly changing, fast paced environment; ability to respond positively and calmly to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
Experience using JIRA, Confluence as working tools and have some understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel as part of product solutioning and operations activities.
Have experience in stakeholder management – To understand business owners or process owner problems and able to influence or provide digital product development expertise.
Experience with digital technology or product development companies - work with engineers and develop an understanding of technical considerations and able to provide product features requirements addressing to user needs.
Understand, analyze and use data to solve problems - The ability to apply specific approaches and knowing what data you would need matter more than knowledge about advanced statistical techniques
UX and Design experience – Able to translate with users’ requirements/needs and work with UX designers to deliver the appropriate product design.
Have solid communication skills - Able to write clearly and concisely, give good presentations, and know how to get people working together
Taking initiative to make things happen – Self-motivated to push for change, drive solutions development and engaging stakeholders promptly.
