We are seeking a fit and energetic Merchandiser to join our team in Singapore.
This role involves managing stock movement, collecting products from the warehouse, and ensuring effective product displays across retail outlets.
It is well-suited for Malaysian candidates who are looking to gain experience in merchandising and retail operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect stocks from the warehouse and deliver them to assigned retail outlets.
- Ensure all products are displayed in an organised, visually appealing, and brand-consistent manner to maximise customer engagement and sales.
- Monitor stock movement at stores, perform stock checks, and handle replenishments to ensure product availability and visibility.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams on new product launches and promotional displays.
- Submit regular reports on stock status, merchandising activities, competitor updates, and photo records.
- Identify opportunities to improve store layouts and displays to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Provide assistance to retail staff and respond to basic customer queries where needed.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Undertake any ad-hoc assignments when required.
Job Requirements:
- SPM or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in merchandising, retail, or FMCG (preferred).
- Must be fit and healthy as the role requires stock handling, carrying, and movement.
- Basic knowledge of retail merchandising practices and customer engagement.
- Fluency in local language required; proficiency in Tamil, Malay, or English is an added advantage.
- Must possess own vehicle and be willing to travel within Singapore.
- Work Schedule: Every other day (alternate days), including stock collection duties.
- Contract: 1-year role with potential renewal based on performance.
