Design & Planning:
- Review Fabrication (Production) drawing before issuing to production team for frame fabrication and assembling
- Ensure production team using the latest and approved drawings
- Check Bill of Order (BOM) as per Engineering drawing and verify with Production Engineer for bulk material ordering
- Coordinate with engineering team for any changes or modification.
- Check whether production received all the necessary information / Drawing as per Works Order to Production department
Fabrication & Assembling:
- Supervise and monitor the fabrication of structure / frame and assembling of modules
- Oversee the installation/assembling of piping and ducting on to module frame
- Ensure compliance with welding procedures and quality standards for structure
- Manage yard activities to ensure safety and timely progress
- Identify and resolve module issues and implement corrective actions or red markup drawings
- Closely monitor and follow up with NDT procedure (MPI) for structure (if applicable)
- To complete dimensional checks during fabrication as per production drawings
- To follow up with Checklist and complete them in timely manner
Quality & Safety:
- Monitor all quality control aspects of material, fabrication, NDT, testing and assembling.
- Ensure work is performed safely and in compliance with safety procedures and permit to work system.
- Maintain detailed inspection and quality reports.
- Ensure all the lifting appliances are tested and with valid certification
DfMA Module Assembling:
- Coordinate with QC teams to ensure proper documentation of tests and inspections
- To follow up with Sub-contractor to installation of ducting as per production drawings
- Ensure all the bolts torque done as per project requirement and marked properly
- Maintain good standard of mechanical tools and test equipment's
Final painting, inspection and Lifting:
- Ensure colour coding are followed during final painting as per project requirements (indicated in the drawing)
- Final inspection to be done with Client
- Ensure and arrange lifting plan as per module weight and yard crane capacity.

Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including checklist, test records, and material certificates.
- Provide daily and periodical reports on yard progress and project status to Production planner.
General For Production yard:
- Maintain proper and required recourses, Tools & equipment as per project needs
- To check and keep records of yard workers and equipment certification and arrange renewal as and when required
Ad-Hoc
- Ad-Hoc duty will be assigned by managers.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Preferably at least 2 years of relevant experience in the Construction or Industrial Engineering sector.
- Fresh graduates with strong interest in ACMV systems are welcome to apply.
- Experience in ACMV design, piping systems, structural supports, and ducting works will be an advantage.
- Exposure to projects such as manufacturing plant construction or data centre fit-out works is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an outgoing and collaborative mindset.
- Independent, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced project environment.
- Able to build strong working relationships and interact effectively with project members, managers, and stakeholders at all levels.
