Job Role Summary
The Production Executive is responsible for ensuring effective execution of production plans.
He/She is to maintain operational excellence through resource planning, people management, equipment maintenance oversight, and adherence to food safety standards while driving continuous improvement and maintaining a safe working environment.
Area of Responsibility
People Safety Management
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures.
- Investigate safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Promote safety awareness and culture.
Food Safety Compliance
- Ensure products produced comply to food safety and quality standard.
- Ensure that the working areas are kept clean and are maintained in working order including all installations in accordance GMP.
- Implement corrective actions for food safety deviations.
Production Plan Execution
- Ensure daily production schedules and ensure adherence to planned target.
- Implement corrective actions for production delays or quality issues.
- Plan and allocate human resources for optimal shift coverage.
- Coordinate raw / packaging material requirements with supply chain.
- Lead root cause analysis for operational issues.
- Enforce strict compliance to standard operating procedures (SOPs) by all personnel.
Equipment Maintenance Oversight
- Monitor equipment performance and reliability.
- Plan and optimize maintenance activities to minimize planned and unplanned downtime.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance procedures.
- Maintenance cost optimization.
Continuous Improvement Projects
- Implement CAPEX project.
- Drive cost optimization, process and energy efficiency improvement projects.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum Diploma with at least 5 years of experience in food manufacturing and in similar capacity.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in food manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a production team and meeting production targets.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment and quality control standards.
Professional Qualifications
- Familiar with HACCP, GMP, ISO22000.
