Production Operator contributes to food production operations by setting up his/her work stations and handling the equipment within the station to prepare ingredients, food products, and packaging.
He/she is expected to adhere to food production requirements, food safety parameters, and processes to ensure that the food products are manufactured to standards.
Prepare work stations at the start of shift, and ensure stations are cleaned and washed down the end of shift
Check production parameters, ingredient quantities, and/or preparation methods for correct settings to meet process requirements
Operate equipment and machinery in food production lines
Monitor food processing equipment for escalation in cases of improper functions and/or qualities
Adhering strictly to established standard operating procedures and guidelines for food production, safety, and quality standards.
Adhering strictly to hygiene and safety protocols, including wearing appropriate protective gear, following sanitation procedures, and maintaining a clean work environment to prevent contamination.
Perform tasks as per assigned by superior
Minimum GCE “O” level or equivalent
At least 1 year of experience in relevant field or in F&B background
Adaptable to colder environments, ranging from 10 to 15°C
Basic understanding of food processing equipment and machinery
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to standards processes
Physical stamina and ability to lift and move moderately heavy loads
Attention to detail and commitment to quality standard
