About the Role
The candidate will support PB production for any issue with infrastructure environments and will be responsible for various infrastructure-related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Support PB production for any issue with infrastructure environments.
- Support infrastructure environment related tasks including upgrades, restarts, deployments, and troubleshooting across development, test, and production environments.
- Maintain and enhance the DevOps setup for PB projects, aligned to UOB standard.
- Analyze project requirements and coordinate the planning and provisioning of infrastructure environments tailored to PB requirements.
- Perform installation, deployment, and configuration of applications and software, providing ongoing BAU support.
- Implement and manage monitoring solutions to ensure the stability, performance, and observability of PB environments.
- Respond to and resolve technical issues and service requests raised by project teams, collaborating with vendors as needed to ensure timely resolution.
- Automate operational tasks to reduce manual intervention.
Qualifications
The candidate must have minimum 7 years of working experience in the following areas:
- Hands on experience in Temenos WealthSuite (Triple’A) product.
- Hands on experience in middleware administration (WebSphere/WebLogic/JBoss/MQ).
- Hands on experience in Oracle database and performance tuning.
- Hands on experience in Linux/Unix and shell scripting.
- Hands on experience in DevOps tool (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Aldon).
- Hands on experience in Control-M jobs setup and monitoring.
- Hands on experience in Geneos monitoring setup including dashboard.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Linux server administration.
- Strong understanding of Oracle database administration.
- Familiarity with Aldon or similar configuration management tools.
- Able to document technical architecture using servers and network diagrams.
- Good understanding of the Development/SIT/UAT/Production environment requirements.
- Good understanding of network and common issues.
- Good understanding of service management tools & processes.
- Multitask and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- A degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field.
- Possession of relevant professional certifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Middleware – Red Hat JBoss, IBM MQ, IBM CD, Kafka.
- Database – Oracle, Sybase.
- Service Management Tool – JIRA, Confluence, Remedy, ServiceNow.
