Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership
Lead end-to-end execution of mechanical construction programs, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets.Apply extensive knowledge of multiple sub-functions including HVAC, process exhaust, water systems, and cleanroom infrastructure.Make decisions that impact project success and timeliness, with influence across the site and local operations.Technical Oversight
Oversee design and implementation of:Wet Systems: Chilled water, cooling water, make-up water, fire protection, PCW, plumbing, sanitary systems, and underground services.Dry Systems: HVAC, process exhaust (general, solvent, ammonia, acid), process vacuum, compressed dry air, cleanroom and non-cleanroom makeup air systems.Ensure systems interface seamlessly with process tools and other facility infrastructure.Engineering & Commissioning
Lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and equipment commissioning.Provide engineering services including design reviews, specification development, and troubleshooting.Act as a technical consultant to colleagues, managers, and senior leadership.Compliance & Safety
Ensure all designs meet applicable codes and standards (NFPA, FM, UBC, UFC, UMC, IBC, IMC, IFC, NEC).Engineer safety into all designs and maintain compliance with company safety guidelines.Data & Documentation
Maintain engineering databases for job tracking, capital equipment, system loads, and capacities.Support cost estimation and analysis for proposed projects.Strategic Planning
Participate in mid- to long-term infrastructure planning to support evolving semiconductor processes.Incorporate lessons learned from global facilities into ongoing and future designs.Build strong customer relationships across internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degreeand/or Master’s degreein Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.8+ years of experience in mechanical construction or program/project management.Proven track record of managing large-scale mechanical infrastructure projects.Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in project management tools (, MS Project, Primavera, or similar).PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.Experience insemiconductor,data center,pharmaceutical, orindustrial facilityconstruction.Familiarity with energy-efficient systems and sustainability practices.Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to changing priorities.
