As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi‐disciplinary projects from start to finish—working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross‐functional partners across the company.
Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres.
It’s your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in program or project management.
2 years of experience managing Environmental Health and Safety Programs.
Preferred Qualifications
3 years of EHS program management experience, preferably in logistics with outsourced providers.
3 years of experience building stakeholder relationships with cross‐functional teams and using data to influence decisions.
Experience working in Asia Pacific and other international environments.
Knowledge of workplace safety and environmental regulations.
Ability to travel as required.
Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate operational Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) risks, analyzing business impact and leading cross‐functional programs to design and implement mitigation strategies.
Partner with third‐party logistics vendors and internal stakeholders to drive safety improvements, develop EHS standards for contracts, and foster a strong culture of safety.
Contribute strategically to global and regional EHS initiatives while assessing existing programs for alignment with strategy and opportunities for increased efficiency.
Review vendor incident investigations, communicating corrective actions and key learnings across the business to prevent future occurrences.
Manage program budgets and allocate resources to successfully support all EHS objectives and initiatives.
