Job Title: Programme Assistant
Salary: Up to $3,000 per month
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and people-oriented individual to support in overseeing the daily operations and programmes.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with seniors and building strong community connections.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate support services and organize inter-generational activities for seniors within the service cluster.
- Mentor and motivate a team of AAC staff and volunteers.
- Conduct regular outreach and befriending initiatives for seniors.
- Establish and encourage mutual help groups among seniors.
- Supervise and manage the Alert Alarm System.
- Assist seniors with letter reading, mobile phone issues, and other daily needs.
- Ensure smooth operations of centre facilities and equipment.
- Prepare and submit reports to AIC and other stakeholders in line with performance indicators.
- Maintain accurate Information and Referral Service records and follow-up actions.
Qualifications & Experience
- A Level or Diploma in Community & Social Service.
- At least 1–2 years of relevant working experience.
- Prior volunteering experience (1–2 years preferred).
- IT savvy and comfortable with digital systems.
- People-oriented, with a strong passion for working with seniors.
- Knowledge of the role and functions of an Active Ageing Centre will be an added advantage.
