BLOCK71 Singapore is preparing for the next phase of growth.

We have incubated 10 unicorns during their early days, along with thousands of other startups since our inception 2011.

As we look into a new era, we are redefining the ways BLOCK71 Singapore supports and interacts with founders and the startup ecosystem at large.

To support this transformation, we are looking to onboard a Programme Head with a passion for supporting the next generation of groundbreaking startups.

You will work closely with founders, providing strategic guidance and leveraging your expertise to help them navigate the challenges of building successful companies.

This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation and make a significant impact on the startup ecosystem.

The Programme Head will work alongside the existing incubation and programme team members and be primarily responsible for:

  • Lead the process in identifying and selecting early-stage startups for various programmes by conducting due diligence and market analysis to assess the viability and potential of these startups.

  • Collaborate with team members to design and refine the curriculum, ensuring relevance and value.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to startup founders on refining their business models, GTM strategies and operational plans.

  • Leverage your network with industry experts, investors and potential customers to provide the necessary resources and networking opportunities to startups.

  • Measure programme success and implement improvements based on feedback and outcomes.

  • Monitor the progress of portfolio companies and provide ongoing support to ensure their growth and success.

Qualifications

  • Degree holder with at least 10 years of experience in the startup ecosystem.

  • Proven track record of success as a startup founder and/or managing and scaling accelerator programmes.

  • Deep regional market insights and a strong network in the startup ecosystem.

  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Passionate about entrepreneurship.

  • Proven self-starter, able to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate business models and market opportunities.

  • Ex-venture-back founders with successful exits will be considered positively.
