Job Description
Programme Support and Coordination (35%)
- Support coordination of master plan initiatives across areas such as food safety, animal-borne diseases, vector-borne diseases, environmental hazards, and enabling programs.
- Assist domain leads in implementing initiatives.
- Support inter-agency working groups and maintain alignment with international frameworks.
- Track implementation progress and assist with reporting on activities.
Research and Documentation (30%)
- Conduct literature reviews on public health topics, including zoonotic diseases, food safety, environmental health, and capacity building.
- Perform scientific writing to produce communication materials, reports, and briefing documents.
- Support horizon scanning activities on research and workforce competencies.
- Assist in developing evidence-based recommendations and policy materials.
Stakeholder Engagement and Events (20%)
- Support coordination with domestic and international partners.
- Assist with participation in international forums and initiatives.
- Help develop communication materials and public education resources.
- Support organization of workshops, meetings, and capacity-building events.
- Prepare content for promotional activities.
Administrative and Secretariat Support (15%)
- Provide administrative support
- Manage meeting coordination, documentation, and information collation.
- Maintain stakeholder contact lists and communication systems.
- Support basic project administration and resource coordination.
- Perform general secretariat functions including note-taking and presentation preparation.
Job Requirement
- 2–12 years of work experience in relevant areas such as public health, research, policy support, or programme coordination.
- Basic understanding of public health concepts and multisectoral approaches.
- Experience in research, writing, or project support activities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across different teams and organisations.
