Programme Manager (Softskills)
Softskills programmes are usually short courses that cater to primary and secondary school students as well as Adult learners.
We have a wide range of programmes such as leadership, motivation, study skills, grooming and etiquette, cyber wellness, mindfulness and many more.
He/She reports to the Head of Innovation and works closely with the Enterprise and Productivity teams to manage training projects that will include the development of training content, briefing of trainers, production of training materials, preparation of logistics and deployment of trainers.
Training quality of associate trainers will be a key focus of the Programme Manager and he/she will be expected to undertake training assignments.
As the Programme Manager (Softskills) of Mastereign Enrichment, a typical day might include the following:
- Facilitating and conducting softskills training sessions for students.
- Managing end-to-end training projects – including content development, trainer briefings, logistics preparation and deployment.
- Leading a team of Assistant Programme Managers, Content Developers, and Associate Trainers.
- Ensuring high training quality through regular trainer assessments and mentoring.
- Supporting the Enterprise and Innovation teams to create fresh, relevant and market-ready programmes.
- Driving recruitment, onboarding, and training of new trainers to meet programme demand.
- Tracking budgets and ensuring training projects stay within allocated costs.
- Innovating and enhancing programme offerings based on market trends and feedback.
- Meeting monthly with the Head of Innovation for reporting and continuous improvement.
You must have:
- A deep passion for youth development and softskills training.
- A Bachelor's Degree in any field (training or education-related disciplines preferred).
- A recognised professional training or curriculum development qualification.
- Candidates with Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance 2.0 (ACLP 2.0) or Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance 2.0 (DDDLP 2.0) will have an advantage.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in training or education programme management.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- High initiative, problem-solving ability, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Confidence to work independently and as part of a dynamic, purpose-driven team.
*MOE registered trainers with prior training experience will be an advantage
Responsibilities:
- Perform curriculum related supporting activities to support both new and existing clientele
- Plan, execute and project manage programmes effectively
- Manage project budgets
- Manage and forecast training manpower needs and execute recruitment and training strategies to support the demand
- Conduct softskills training for students and trainers
- Assist the Director of Innovation to identify market trends and market research for the purpose of business and programme development.
- Participate in recruitment activities such as networking, exhibitions and conferences
- Promote good relations with institutions and students
