Role Summary and Impact
This role consists of two workstreams, Project Management and Change Management.
In this role, you will be part of the APAC Business Transformation team, where you will be responsible of the daily project governance and management activities, as well as Change Management related planning and enabling activities.

In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:
Embedded yourself in the current Market Operating Model Change projects with Wave 1 Markets, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.
Act as Regional Change Manger, and worked closely with Regional and Local Project Managers to:
Build relationships with Market stakeholder groups and establish consistent ways of working.
Create Change Management Plan, tailored to local business culture and growth requirements.
Support local HR team to leverage previous projects experience and lessons learnt and roll-out local change and communication activities.
Timely escalate risks and issues, and propose mitigation solutions.
In six months:
Learnt Regional Project Management Office's (PMO) standard ways of working and regional templates.
Where needed, led the General PMO activities, including:
Lead the day-to-day program governance and management activities
Own the detailed project plan and update on an ongoing basis
Own the project key learnings and knowledge sharing with Markets
Own the project shared drive and deliverables documentation
Create and own the project Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID) log
Enable new Regional and Local project team members' onboarding
In 12 months:
On an ongoing basis, act as the go-to person for Change Management related topics.
Create a short 'starter friendly' Change Management guidance deck, to help Business and other functional teams to understand the importance of considering Change Management, and the basic Change related topics when embracing change related projects.
Created and provided structured training to Business Transformation team members on Change Management principles, regularly used templates, and learnings from working with APAC markets.
Where needed, owned project PMO workstream and worked as the project first contact point.
What your day job looks like at WPP Media:
Act as Regional Project Manager:
Own General PMO activities
Work closely with the Project Sponsors and project team to achieve project key milestones and timely communicate with Global and Senior leaders
Regularly engage all Markets to clarify supports needed, local transition progress against project plan and follow-up on agreed actions
Conduct regular project plan update, status monitor & reporting and identifying risks & issues for escalation
Own project key documentation management and knowledge sharing
Act as a partner to the business
Take the regional change frameworks, to develop local change strategies and design change activities to secure stakeholders' awareness, support, and timely actions to deliver expected outcomes in market
Monitor the market's change plan roll-out status, conduct course corrections where needed, and escalate risks and issues to market and regional leaders
Work with local leadership to establish market specific change initiatives, catalogue these and develop programs for prioritized areas
Regularly assess the local stakeholder groups' change acceptance level.
Conduct analysis and propose ongoing improvement actions
Design and deliver communications and collect feedback
Support the workstream on new Technology design and rollout including adoption
Support on the evolution of our change strategy design
Leverage existing change management toolkit to support system related change activities
What you'll bring:
8+ years of project management experience, ideally with top consulting firms.
Solid track record in delivering project management activities with large scaled cross-functional and cross-Market transformation projects.
Expertise in project governance and management activities, covering planning, reporting, risk management, quality assurance and stakeholder engagement.
Credibility and gravitas, and ability to work with and relate to a highly demanding internal client base.
Experience of working with 3rd party professional or technology service providers.
An established background in change management (strategy as well as implementation)- an appreciation of behavioural change and how to implement it
Possessing excellent communications skills (written and verbal) with the power to influence and persuade.
Equally comfortable playing a lead or support role.
Excellent people and team management skills, able to motivate team members and manage upwards and influence in a complex environment.
A resilient operator who works effectively in a matrix environment where ambiguity exists and is comfortable engaging C-suite level.
Ability to build trust and credibility.
Proactive, self-starter capable of agile thinking to build solutions.
Preferably with knowledge of the media and advertising industry.
Fluent in both English verbal and written communications.
