What you will do:
The Project Engineer will be responsible for executing the Building Management System (BMS) scope for mission-critical data center projects.
This includes reviewing designs, coordinating installation, supporting integration and commissioning activities, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and operational requirements.
The role demands strong technical knowledge of BMS systems and excellent coordination skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
How you will do it:
Engineering & Documentation
Review BMS design drawings, control diagrams, and project specifications.Prepare and update engineering documents such as I/O lists, point schedules, and cable routing layouts.Coordinate with design consultants, MEP teams, and vendors to resolve technical queries.Installation & Coordination
Supervise and coordinate BMS installation works to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.Monitor subcontractor progress and quality of works.Liaise with electrical, mechanical, and IT teams to ensure seamless system integration.Testing & Commissioning
Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).Assist in System Integration Testing (SIT) and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).Verify alarm functions, control sequences, and graphics against specifications.Quality & Compliance
Ensure works meet relevant standards and project requirements.Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and test results.Report technical issues and propose solutions to the Senior Engineer or Project Manager.Handover & Support
Assist in preparing as-built drawings, operation manuals, and training materials.Support client handover and post-commissioning troubleshooting if required.What we look for:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Controls Engineering.BMS platform training (e.g., Schneider, Siemens, Honeywell, Johnson Controls) is an advantage.Minium of 2 years of experience in BMS projects, ideally with exposure to mission-critical environments or enterprise-level data center projects.Hands-on knowledge of integration protocols (BACnet, Modbus, OPC, SNMP).Ability to read and interpret MEP and control system drawings.Strong technical troubleshooting skills.Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.Good communication and teamwork abilities.
