Job Summary
The Project Engineer is responsible for the planning, design, execution, and management of rail projects.
This role ensures the delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards while ensuring safety and compliance with applicable regulations
Job Description
- Develop and review project plans, designs, and specifications for railway systems, including SCADA, COMMS, Signalling, Electrical Systems, and Civil works.
- Supervise installation and termination, conduct testing and commissioning activities.
- Resolve technical and operational challenges during project implementation.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, government authorities, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including system interface design document, site construction drawing, technical specifications.
- Prepare detailed reports and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Be prepared to perform shift work.
- Carry out ad-hoc assignments as required.
- On-site work is required.
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in LTA-MRT projects.
- Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools.
- Knowledgeable in Putty, WinSCP, Wireshark
- Knowledgeable in communication protocol, e.g., TCP/IP, Modbus
