Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a team of technicians to execute on-site installation, support, and troubleshooting of electromechanical and electrical wiring systems.
- Collaborate across departments and engage in technical meetings with customers to align on design specifications and requirements.
- Manage and monitor project timelines, adjusting resources proactively to ensure on-time delivery.
- Drive new product development—from prototyping through to mass production—with a focus on innovation and manufacturability.
- Source and evaluate new components and equipment to support new product development, including cost and tooling analysis.
- Oversee cross-functional efforts related to product development and process optimization.
- Prepare and manage project documentation including FAI reports, drawings, specifications, SOPs, work instructions, and customer approvals.
- Partner with QA/QC teams to resolve quality issues and implement preventive measures.
- Take on additional duties and projects as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a project engineering role, preferably within the manufacturing or electrical engineering sector.
- Hands-on experience in electrical power distribution or electrical panel design (including motor control systems).
- Strong communication and coordination skills with a solution-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
