About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our team, supporting engineering projects in high-tech facilities that involve gas and Chemical Systems, Ultra-High-Purity (UHP) Piping, Mechanical Works, electrical and control systems, and Total Facility Hook-Up Engineering.
You will gain hands‐on experience in site coordination, project execution, cost control, and safety management.
Fresh graduates or experienced professionals in Engineering are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning, execution, and supervision of site works from start to handover
Support project activities, including gas/chemical systems, mechanical installations, electrical/control systems, and facility hook‐up works
Manage and monitor project operations independently, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and adherence to quality and safety standards
Compile technical and commercial offers in response to customer requirements for tender submissions, in close coordination with internal teams
Prepare and present clarifications, and engage in technical and commercial pre‐order negotiations with customers
Calculate total project cost and assist in establishing tendering budgets (time, resources, and expenses)
Coordinate internally and externally to support proposal presentation and documentation
Perform risk analysis and prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals
Maintain effective communication with customers, ensuring satisfaction and handling continuous improvement feedback
Prepare and submit technical reports, including the ability to hand‐sketch mechanical details
Liaise with contractors and supervise skilled workers to ensure jobs are completed to specification
Use AutoCAD and other tools to support design and technical planning
Provide progress updates to management and contribute to feasibility studies for viable technical solutions
Apply creativity in problem‐solving and information gathering for engineering solutions
Support the development and implementation of engineering and maintenance strategies to solve equipment issues
Requirements:
Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering
Good communication and leadership skills, able to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
Strong organizational skills and a proactive, independent work attitude
Ability to work in a fast‐paced, project‐driven environment
Proficiency in AutoCAD is an advantage
Strong technical report writing and problem‐solving skills
