We are one of the largest one‐stop Underground Utilities Infrastructure companies based in Singapore.
We provide Underground Utilities Infrastructure construction and maintenance, sewer pipeline rehabilitation, road and airfield construction and maintenance as well as asphalt pre‐mix production and construction waste recycling.
RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a proactive Project Engineer to support the Project‐in‐Charge (PIC) or Project Manager (PM) in planning, coordinating, and managing project resources, schedules, and costs from start to finish.
The ideal candidate will ensure smooth project execution by overseeing manpower allocation, identifying training needs, managing team performance, and maintaining project documentation.
You will also play a key role in obtaining necessary permits, managing stakeholder communications, and championing strict adherence to safety regulations on site.
Assist the Project‐in‐Charge (PIC) or Project Manager (PM) in:
Resource Management
Determine the projects’ needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish and allocate them effectively
Manage resource constraints when they arise
With regards to manpower, identify any training/skills gap and organise/request for training sessions to address the gap
Review and where necessary, plan for team members/workers’ career progression
Project Management
Develop project plan and coordinate the project schedule
Ensure relevant permit approvals are obtained from appropriate authorities before commencement of work
Track and monitor project costs; manage team performance and address/resolve any issues or conflicts when they arise
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to the project team, providing direction, support and guidance so that they can perform delegated tasks and responsibilities effectively
Report regularly on progress to the client and stakeholders
Manage stakeholder expectations and address their needs and concerns
Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
Maintain accurate and up‐to‐date project documentation
Assist in technical documentation during tender stages of the project
Safety
Champion safe work practices on site
Ensure all safety rules and regulations are strictly adhered to during site operations
Ensure teams strictly comply with safety rules and regulations, and take enforcement action without prejudice for any non‐compliance
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, recognized by the Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB).
Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant local experience in water pipe, structural, or infrastructure projects.
Experience with underground utilities or similar site works is advantageous.
Strong skills in project coordination and site supervision with a practical, hands‐on approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, clients, and consultants.
Self‐motivated and able to work independently in a fast‐paced environment.
Strong problem‐solving ability with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
Possession of a valid Class 2 or 3 driving license is an advantage (to support site mobility).
