Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and organize construction activities to ensure a cost-effective approach that supports schedule and budget requirements.
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with standards.
- Liaise with trades and stakeholders to coordinate activities, resolve issues, and maintain smooth progress.
- Conduct VSCC and take full responsibility for workplace safety and cleanliness onboard vessels.
- Monitor and report project progress against baseline plans, highlighting potential risks, delays, or issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular progress meetings to address concerns and align all parties on deliverables.
- Review manpower allocation, resource requirements, and duration forecasts to ensure adequate support for project completion.
- Track construction productivity and performance, investigate variances, and implement corrective measures where needed.
- Manage project schedules, cost-to-completion (CTC), and percentage-of-completion (POC) reporting in coordination with senior management.
- Ensure that all changes to scope, specifications, and drawings are properly documented and communicated.
- Handle warranty-related matters and provide follow-up support as required.
- Support tender submissions and contribute to ad-hoc project tasks when called upon.
- Maintain positive client relationships and manage expectations effectively at site.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical / Marine
- At least 2 years of Marine Production Experience.
- Candidates with production experience in other marine trades are welcome to apply
- Strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, with a keen sense of problem-solving, cost awareness, and urgency in driving tasks to completion
