Job Description
The Challenges
Working at client premises as implant to support the logistics and shipping functionsShipment forecast and planning based on materials expediting reportCoordinate with clients suppliers on cargo collection and source for suitable sailing for the shipmentFollow up with overseas offices for freight rates, booking and shipment statusTo source for freight rates from carriers and handle the bookings with carriersActivation of shipments and preparation of relevant shipping documents and assigning of UDRPreparation of import and export permits for customs declarationsMonitor shipment status on daily basis and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholdersAttend client’s shipment status meeting and provide updatesPreparation of quotation and invoices in a timely manner to bill to clientCoordinate with local and overseas office for tender preparations and submissionsPreparation of internal project costs and P&L per shipment and monthly reportTraveling both locally and overseas may be required
What It Takes
At least 2 to 3 years of experience in international freight forwardingDirect experience of working in Oil & Gas.
Experiences with FPSO freight forwarding projects preferredAbility to work in a dynamic environment and perform effectively under time pressureAbility to deal with stress and flexibility to work after office hoursAbility to represent the company and to build strong stakeholder relationshipsGood communication skills in English and ChineseGreat team playerGood IT skills in Office365Physically capable of national / international travel
