AML Project Manager

Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of AML-related projects and programs, including planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues.
Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives spanning one or multiple lines of business.
Ensure alignment of projects and programs with strategic objectives.
Own the full project lifecycle end-to-end, from planning through delivery and post-implementation review.
Prepare detailed project plans for all phases, manage day-to-day activities, and facilitate project management working and steering committees.
Monitor interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
Track, monitor, and control project outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
Deliver executive-level communications and status reporting on milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risks to leadership and business stakeholders.
Manage stakeholder expectations through effective governance processes.
Ensure projects and programs proceed according to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
Strong project management experience in the AML domain.
Requirements & Skills
Deep understanding of AML regulations, controls, and compliance requirements.
Proven project management skills, including planning, budgeting, risk management, and reporting.
Experience managing complex projects spanning multiple lines of business.
Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Ability to work across technology, operations, and business functions effectively.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
