Job Description:
- Review the sales handover budget to project department with reference to standards in compliance with the company policies, statutory requirements and contract specifications.
- Monitor, review, and manage budget costs and be responsible for the financial performance of projects.
- Liaise and attend meetings with users, owners, architects, consultants, main contractors, and other sub-contractors.
- Source, select, and recommend sub-contractors/suppliers to be used for the specified project and ensure meet the specification and budget.
- Monitor and review timely submission of variation claims, progress claims,management reports, site progress reports and assessment subcontractor claims.
- Conduct weekly project meetings with the project team and submit MOM to the project director.
- Coordinate with the engineering team to discuss work procedures, scope,scheduling, work sequence.
Ensure all the FAT, testing and commissioning,training, and handover projects on time.
- Provide guidance and training to the engineers and supervisors and ensure follow company procedures, rules, and regulations to perform the duties.
- Monitor and control project activities to ensure the project is completed on schedule and within budget.
Identify potential or actual causes of delay and take preventive or remedial actions.
- Ensure all the equipment procurement and delivery to the site within the schedule
- Ensure all the Variation Orders and Quotations are submitted on time to obtain the approval for the assessment of the Variation Order and submit the claim accordingly
- Submit the weekly progress report, quarterly forecast revenue, and half-yearly budget review
- Develop project schedules in compliance with customer requirements, deadlines,and/or milestones; develop mechanisms to track schedule progress in the field.
- Manage project cash flow to ensure positive cash flow and stock control.
- Ensure all the payment responses are received on time and no overdue payment from the main contractor/client.
- To prepare Project Quality Plan for engineers and sub-contractors to ensure that specified requirements for the quality of a project are met.
- To manage good relationships with the clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Ensure the project proper handover with all the documents and sign-off to the Service and Maintenance team.
- Assist in any ad-hoc new assignments when required.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in similar industry, especially the Building Management System and Extra Low Voltage System.
- A self-starter, able to work independently and with high level of ownership and responsibility.
- Resilience, entrepreneurship spirits, self-direction, and strong adaptability.
- Innovative thinking, thinking outside-the-box, resourceful and a good problem solver.
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good presentation skill, able to conduct presentation to main contractors, consultants and owners.
- Able to manage ELV and BMS projects independently.
- Experience in LTA is an advantage.
