Job Responsibilities
- Manage successful and effective project execution, including planning, implementation, scheduling, monitoring, and handover within specified timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Oversee project budget controls, track expenditures, and implement strategies to reduce project delivery costs.
- Review and analyze contract documents and drawings.
Communicate and negotiate with consultants, clients, authorities, and contractors on engineering, contractual, and project implementation matters.
- Monitor overall productivity and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards, as well as all applicable permits.
- Prepare and submit monthly progress reports to stakeholders.
- Define roles and responsibilities clearly for team members and ensure their deliverables meet scope and schedule requirements.
- Supervise and guide team members to ensure compliance with project standards and objectives.
Requirements
- A degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Singapore
- Minimum 6 years of relevant project management experience in the local construction industry.
- Proven experience in managing at least one full project cycle with a project value of $50M or above.
- Prior experience with LTA and PUB projects is preferred.
- Strong leadership, planning, interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting high standards and deadlines.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and driven by excellence.
- Proficient in MS Project.
- Candidates who can start work on short notice will have an advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $7, $9,000.00 per month
