This role offers close mentorship and hands-on training in advanced experimental techniques, including stem cell culture, CRISPR-based perturbation screens, and single-cell genomics.
While the position includes general lab support duties, its core purpose is to prepare the candidate for long-term scientific growth—including potential admission into NTU’s Ph.D. program.
This is an ideal role for a recent graduate seeking to sharpen their research skills and gain deep exposure to academic science before committing to graduate training.
Learn more about our lab at .**Key Responsibilities:*** Assist in wet-lab experiments including stem cell culture, CRISPR editing, molecular cloning, and imaging* Help maintain shared lab reagents and support common protocols used across projects* Receive individualized training in core molecular biology techniques and experimental design* Participate in data collection and analysis under guidance from the PI and senior lab members* Contribute to lab organization, procurement, and safety documentation as part of a collaborative team* Take intellectual ownership of a focused mini-project aligned with the lab’s research goals* Prepare for potential transition into the SBS PhD program by building a strong technical and conceptual foundation in modern biological research**Job Requirements:*** Entry level candidates are welcome to apply* Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biomedical sciences, molecular biology, or related field* Strong interest in pursuing graduate study and a long-term research career* Prior laboratory experience (e.g., coursework, UROPs, final year projects) preferred* Excellent organizational skills and ability to learn complex protocols quickly* Conscientious, reliable, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively* Good written and verbal communication skillsThe College of Science seeks a diverse and inclusive workforce and is committed to equality of opportunity.
