R ATMRI at NTU is seeking a highly motivated Project Officer to join its dynamic research team working at the forefront of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Human-AI Hybrid concepts, and Natural Language Processing (NLP)/Large Language Models (LLMs) with a focus on high impact research.**Key Responsibilities:**Conduct research in:* Multi-Agent Systems and Reinforcement Learning (e.g., DDPG, PPO, MARL).* NLP including language understanding, generation, explainability and reasoning, and dialogue systems.* Efficient algorithm development for air traffic conflict resolution.Develop and evaluate AI models, including:* Agent-based and LLM-based models using frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace Transformers, and LangChain.Design and implement simulation platforms and experimental pipelines for algorithm validation.Visualize simulation and experimental results to support decision-making and research findings.Contribute to:* High-impact publications in top-tier AI conference and journals.* Internal knowledge transfer, and collaborative research efforts.**Job Requirements:*** Bachelor's degree mathematics or artificial Intelligence.* Strong fundamentals in mathematics and machine learning* Knowledge and experience in research and model development for Artificial Intelligence, especially multi-agent systems and NLP.* Experience in prototypes and intelligent tools development.* Evidence of developing Machine Learning and Optimization models.* Strong programming skills in Python.* Good English writing and communication skills for research work.* Independent and team player.We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTUNTU is also home to world-class autonomous institutes – the National Institute of Education, S Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Earth Observatory of Singapore, and Singapore Centre for Environmental Life Sciences Engineering – and various leading research centres such as the Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute (NEWRI) and Energy Research Institute @ NTU ( ).Ranked amongst the world’s top universities by QS, NTU has also been named the world’s top young university for the past seven years.
