About the role
As a Project Planner, you will play a crucial role in the success of construction projects involve creating and managing detailed project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
You will work closely with the project management team to coordinate the activities of various stakeholders and optimize resources for maximum efficiency.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using industry-leading planning software
- Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to track progress and identify potential delays
- Work closely with project team to implement strategies to mitigate risks and address issues that could impact project timelines
- Provide regular updates and reports to the project team and management on the status of the project on key milestone, delays and resource utilization
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to incorporate changes and modifications into the project plan
- Track actual progress against baseline, identify potential risks and delays and recommend mitigation strategies
- To prepare, coordinate and update the planning program is aligned with target
Job Requirements:
- Minimium 3 years' experience as a Project Planner in the construction industry or in structural steel works will be an added advantage
- Minimium qualifications: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field
- Proficiency in using project management software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize project schedules
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
