Project Quality Manager
MODEC Offshore Production Systems (Singapore) Pte Ltd is a leading provider of solutions to the Floating Offshore Oil & Gas market for more than 50 years.
We are looking for a Project Quality Manager to join our team in Singapore and ensure that project execution meets the company’s Quality Management System and client requirements.
Job Summary
The Project Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that the project execution is in compliance with the Project Execution Plan, aligned with the company’s Quality Management System, and meets all regulatory, classification society, and local content requirements.
The role coordinates quality assurance and control activities across all project stages, conducts audits, verifies processes, and oversees suppliers and subcontractors.
Job Responsibilities
Support the Project Management Team in developing the Project Execution Plan and integrate quality requirements into the plan.
Develop and maintain the Project Quality Plan and procedures.
Coordinate the execution of quality surveillance and audit programs for suppliers and subcontractors.
Obtain class and regulatory compliance certifications.
Participate in Lessons Learned workshops and gather insights.
Promote quality and continuous improvement programs and training.
Participate in Quality Management Review Meetings and complete action items.
Monitor Quality KPIs throughout project phases and initiate actions to prevent quality issues.
Review CAPAs/NCRs to identify root causes and oversee implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Serve as the main point of contact for all quality-related concerns, including communication with the client.
Highlight quality-related issues to the Project Manager and the Standards and Compliance section of the Project Management Office.
Oversee project quality professionals from diverse disciplines and locations, ensuring understanding of the Project Execution Plan and coordination of quality assurance and control processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with a deep understanding of quality management systems.
Minimum 15 years of experience in EPC projects or equivalent.
Competencies
Certified ISO9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent standard.
Demonstrated proficiency in the management of NCR, including root cause analysis and corrective action/preventive action.
Project management knowledge; certification is a plus.
