Job Description
The Project Sales Specialist will work with Project Sales Manager to lead sales efforts for turnkey healthcare projects and capital equipment solutions across various departments (e.g., Operating Rooms, ICUs, Endoscopy Departments, and Central Sterile Services Departments (CSSD) in public and private healthcare institutions across Singapore.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and healthcare domain knowledge to manage the complete project sales cycle — from client engagement to post-installation follow-up.
Business Development & Client Engagement
- Identify, engage, and develop relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals (e.g., SingHealth, NUHS, NHG), private hospitals, and day surgery centers.
- Understand client needs, site constraints, and project timelines to propose appropriate healthcare infrastructure solutions.
- Promote the company's portfolio of OR, ICU, endoscopy, and CSSD equipment and turnkey solutions.
Solution Selling
- Provide consultative sales by offering tailored solutions that include design planning, equipment specification, and workflow optimization.
- Present and demonstrate products and solutions to surgeons, endoscopy nurses, sterile processing teams, procurement officers, facility and biomedical engineers.
Tender Management & Proposal Development
- Lead or support the preparation of tender submissions (e.g., GeBIZ, direct hospital tenders).
- Coordinate technical documents, compliance statements, product brochures, layout drawings, and pricing structures for RFPs and RFQs.
- Ensure full alignment with Singapore MOH procurement guidelines and HSA regulations (where applicable).
Project Sales Execution
- Work with internal teams (project management, engineering, logistics) to ensure timely execution of signed contracts.
- Participate in site assessments, pre-installation meetings, and handover processes.
- Ensure all regulatory, safety, and infection control standards (e.g., HSA, NEA, JCI) are adhered to during project execution.
Reporting & Pipeline Management
- Maintain sales forecasts, pipeline status, and customer engagement records in CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
Job Requirements
Key Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of medical equipment for ORs, ICUs, endoscopy systems, and CSSD (washer-disinfectors, sterilizers).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with clinical, technical, and administrative teams.
- Strong understanding of Singapore healthcare standards (e.g., MOH guidelines, infection control, JCI accreditation).
